Driving home Sunday after the inaugural ride of my new bike, my girlfriend Kathy and I thought we’d pick up some takeout rather than cook dinner in my hot kitchen. As it happened, Saturday’s Seattle Times mentioned (here), for the second time, Queen’s Deli, a small storefront deli/café just down the block from Al’s Brewing in White Center that serves delicious Cambodian food. White Center is the hub of Seattle’s Cambodian/Khmer population, as evidenced by the restaurants and food markets – so we were the only non-Cambodians in the deli. The food we ordered was wonderful. We sat in my kitchen and ate until we were happily sated. I highly recommend Queen’s Deli!
